WVM&A I began in late July and have been spending my days becoming familiar with the operations of the Archives and Museum, as well as getting to know the staff and volunteers who make the whole thing tic. I will also be very busy delving into the archives’ various treasures and learning about the history of West Vancouver, something 1 am certain will be never ending. I am a native Okanaganite, bom and raised under the sunny skies of Summerland. I received my B.A. in History from the University of Victoria and most recently graduated from the Master of Archival Studies program at U.B.C. Along with my archival studies, I was previously employed by the Penticton Museum and Archives in the position of archivist where I was responsible for the processing and management of all manner of archival materials. I also provided reference services for a wide variety of researchers; a part of my job I thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to see you soon in the Archives!
