That is what handwriting expert Renata Griffiths will explain at our General Meeting on Wednesday June 25th. An internationally recognized graphologist and certified analyst, Renata Griffiths, will describe what the writing of the rich and famous people reveals about their strengths and perhaps frailties. With a background in psychiatric nursing and a masters degree in health and human sciences, Mrs. Griffiths is consulted by major corporations on personnel matters and is often called as an expert witness in court cases. Because of her international reputation. West Vancouver’s Renata Griffiths is in demand as a speaker at conferences in Europe and the United States. Her presentation, based on history and her own research and personal findings, promises a fascinating evening! All Visitors Welcome, THE NEWSLETTER OF THE WEST VANCOUVER HISTORICAL SOCIETY Gibsons Area Tour Chosen for Society’s Summer Outing Thursday^ July 10 is set for the West Vancouver Historical Society's Summer Event All involved are hoping for pleasant weather to make this one day outing the spectacular event it can be. We look forward to a pleasant, but brief, ferry trip, possibly lunch at Molly’s Reach, renowned for its prominence in the famous Beachcombers TV production, and a tour of the Elphinstone Pioneer Museum at Gibsons. Though small, this Museum serves the entire Sechelt Peninsula and has gathered photos, documents and memorabilia from the whole region in displays that occupy the ground floor. The second floor is laid out as a traditional BC Coast, western family, period home. Each room is equiped with appropriate furnishings and implements gathered from the area. The return trip is planned for the 4:20pm ferry with arrival at Horeshoe Bay at 5.
