SPRING 96 WEST VANCOUVER MUSEUM & ARCHIVES EXHIBITIONS Opened March 12 West Vancouver COLLECTS! From personal mementos and valued pieces to unique curiosities, this exhibition features selections from the Museum’s founding collections and private collections from the community. West Vancouver collectors and collections join the Museum’s historic school collection, early photography collection, and Law-son family materials in a show that celebrates the passion of collecting! Why do we collect and how do we decide what to acquire? What is this passion that drives people to accumulate, assemble, organize and exhibit? Do you collect? We’d like to know about it. Add information on your favourite collection to those gathered for the exhibit, and perhaps we’ll select your collection for special collecting events around the community this summer and fall.
