The Gertrude Lawson House ' This stately home was built in 1938 by Gertrude Lawson, daughter of John and Christina Lawson, pioneer residents of West Vancouver from 1909. Gertrude was a much beloved teacher in West Vancouver for three decades. She died in 1989 at the age of 96.
