VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES Season*s Greetings From the Newsletter Team â€" To all Society Members, Skiff of the Museum &. Archives, And Especially Directors and Volunteers. This is the last issue of the Newsletter for 1993 and the third publi^ed by the team that took over from Georgie and David Wilson. Looking back I can only say, has been a learning experience!**. Our team took over the Newsletter at a time of change. Old systems and relationships were adjusting to the reality of the Museum & Archives; some of the minor inplications of which are not even yet fully apparent. We appreciate all your assistance in helping us recognize the system and apologize for any misunderstandings on our part. Going into ttie New Year we must en^hasize; if the ‘^Newsletter Team Approach** is going to work deadlines must be met. Reporting, writing, composing, editing, paste up, printing, mailing, etc.; all these chores take measurable time; they must fit into already busy schedules. Let's all adopt the policies of “Do it Early** and “Meet that Deadline.** For the Newsletter Team, Waring Pentland Correction to Last Month’s Volunteer Activities We inadvertently ommitted a line of text from Mary's article describing visitors to Gertrude Lawson House. Miss Leonard, also a teacher, was one of the early residents of Gertmde*s house.... ----Of Historical Interest--------- North Shore Heritage: Development from the late 1700's to present Day.
