V7V 4S 1 9 2 6 - 2 6 43 Merry Christmas from all the gang at West Lake Ski Camp Postcard Photo - WVM&HS A General Meeting of the West Vancouver Museum and Historical Society will be held on Thursday, November 22nd, 1990 at Cedardale Centre, commencing at 7:00 p.m. It gives us great pleasure to announce that Chief Constable Herald (Hal) Jenkins will be our guest speaker and his topic - no surprise here- "The History of the West Vancouver Police Department". Mr. Jenkins served with the R.C.M.P. in Ottawa, Regina and Vernon before joining the West Vancouver Police Dept. in 1960. His 30 years of service with the community have encompassed patrol duty, CID (detective), patrol supervision, administration and operations officer. We anticipate an interesting evening with Chief Constable Jenkins followed by the serving of refreshments. Please do not hesitate to bring guests - as well as your own coffee mug, of course.
