THERE WILL BE A CHRISTMAS PARTY ON DECEMBER 6th AT 7:00 p.m. IN THE AUDITORIUM OF CEDARDALE CENTRE We're changing the format this year and you have a multiple choice as to why? 1. One person thought the gift exchange went on too long. 2. Frances Bradley declined the redistribution of the Darwinesque statue she got last year and has since learned to love. 3. Music, maestro, please. There will be a dozen or so door prizes, the exact number depending on the memories of the draftee donors. You'll be issued a numbered ticket on arrival. Hang on to it. The stub goes into a box and you'll be a winner if your number comes up. We're introducing 'readings' - snippets taken from here and there -short verses, Christmas traditions, seasonal stuff, etc. No memorizing is' involved so if you have a strong voice and a hankering for the stage, your role can be arranged through Don Youngson, Christmas Party Chairman, at 926-8855. We'll be having music, we hope.- Either guest carollers or musicians or both. And, we're soliciting non-perishable food donations for the West Vancouver Santa Claus Fund. Please try to make it something EXTRA SPECIAL ... something that would delight you, if you were on the receiving end of a hamper. Do I have to ask for baked goodies for ourselves to eat? I don't think so - you've all been so generous and talented in that department. Barb Johnson (987-5893) is the one to call to offer help. Tea and coffee are complimentary but if you'll be imbibing in the 'red' and 'white', have a pocketful of loonies handy. To all our distant members or those who are unable to attend our festive function, the members of the Executive wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas and Good Health and Happiness in the New Year.
