Why not ask your readers for names and addresses of FORMER West Van people and send them a free copy of the newsletter? I think it would be a good idea to print a membership application on every edition because I, for one, always send my copy on to old friends. Just a thought. We've been pretty wordy with the newsletter lately, often running to a fifth page in order to squeeze everything in. The upstairs window was, of course, in the Burns' beach front home which the family occupied from 1916 until 1978 when Mrs. Burns sold it to the Municipality for future park development. Today, nothing remains of the house at 1434 Argyle Avenue save Mary (Burns) Chapman's memories and pictures which she recently shared with Olga Ruskin on the TV show 'Neight)ours'.
