Skipper, Treasurer DISPIAYS REPORT - 1989 The year kicked off with the Heritage Week display from Feb. 20th to 26th at Park Royal South where we exhibited 7 panels on the theme "West Vancouver Then and Now". We also rented a VCR and showed videos of West Vancouver's 75th Anniversary and our own Memory Cruise. Four new panels were prepared for Port Day '89 held on May 28th at the Pacific Marine Training Institute in North Vancouver. Here, the theme was the 125th Anniversary of the Port of Vancouver and our 4 new panels depicted port and harbour events. On Community Day - June 3rd, 8 panels similar to those seen at Heritage Week were displayed in the Music Room of the Seniors Centre. The location was an improvement over the Rec Centre's foyer, formerly our assigned area.
