PAGE 8 HEAR YE! HEAR YE! COME TO OUR TRAINING WORKSHOPS! Laura Coles is presenting two workshops in Jan/Feb 1990 for any and all interested folk â€" society members or not! AND THERE’S NO COST! WORKSHOP NO.l is on ORAL HISTORY INl'EKVIEWS: How to Prepare for and Conduct an Oral History Interview. WORKSHOP NO. 2 is on IDENTIFYING SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS FROM WEST VANCOUVER. In this workshop, participants can work on photographs and other archival material from schools in West Vancouver, including Pauline Johnson, Inglewood, West Vancouver High School, and many other schools, sorting photographs, identifying students and teachers, and maybe doing some reminiscing! Both workshops are offered free of charge to members and non-members alike. However, space is limited to 10 people per workshop, so we ask that you register early to ensure a space. People are welcome to take both workshops so long as they register in both. You can register by telephoning Mary Chapman at the Archives, at 926-26A3, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. You can also register at the General Meeting on January 25, but you may be taking a chance! It could all be "sold out" by then!
