MEMBERSHIP REPORT We summarized 1985 as being a ‘banner year for the Society* with respect to increasing membership, and I986 as >we seem to have done it again'. The 1987 figures are in and it looks like three in a row. Our individual membership tally stands at 262, including 81 new members, and 34 corporates. We are approaching the stage of self-generation, that is, people seeking us out in order to join, instead of our having to solicit every new member. We wish to tharik all those who have provided the Membership Committee with names of prospective members; those persons vdio took out gift memberships for friends and family; and everyone who publicizes the Society so favourably and encourages others to join.
