Editor- In our last issue of "History-onics", we ran an article on the Salter home (perhaps better known as Hampton Court) seeking information on the Salter Family on benalf of member Mr. J.A.C. Derham-Reid, a resident of Hampton Court. Anyone who may have phoned 926-4931, please doaoagain. Business took Mr. Derham-Reid out of town for three months before our May issue even hit the streets. Hs's back now and promises to stay put for awhile and would appreciate hearing from you if you can shed any light on the Salter Family. Bells are ringing ..... or, at least they will be by the 14th of the month when B C Tel hooks up a phone for us in Room 4 at Pauline Johnson. We are trying to organize a work schedule that will en-ble us to have our Workroom open on a. regular basis and one of the first steps is volunteers to answer the ^hcne. The number hours and time slot ..... at your convenience, ot course. It could be as little as one hour each month; an hour every two weeks, etc. Tne choice is yours. But ^ try to fine some time for your Society. Kathleen Sinclair at 926-2995 is anxious to hear from you. Before you run off to phone her, one more thing. We're in the market for an answering machine to handle calls when we can't be open. Does anyone have such an item hidden away that tney are not using and would care to donate to the Society?
