SHOW AND TELL AND CHRISTMAS CHEER ! .A A Jc.-- 4 TUESDAY DECEMBER 1984 I 7:30 P.M. - 9:30 P ROOM 300 SENTINEL SECONDARY SCHOOL 1250 CHARTWELL AVENUE PROGRAM 1. A short business meeting 2. "Show and Tell" Because of the season, it might be nice to centre Show and Tell about early Christmases in West Vancouver. We would need ten or twelve people to talk about a Christmas in West Vancouver that they found especially memorable. All the talks need not be about the very early days in West Vancouver. If you came in 1945 and your first Christmas has memories that you would like to talk about, by all ineans put your name down to speak. Members need not be reminded that the idea of a "Show and Tell" is to encourage people to donate to the society - memories as well as pictures, letters, artifacts, maps, books - whatever fits into West Vancouver's past. If you do not have Christmas memories, bring what you have. Remember that the Society is now looking ahead to the formation of a museum. If you have anything that would fit into a museum, bring it - or ask the Society to collect it. 3. Refreshments Because it is so close to Christmas, refreshments will be a bit more than the usual cookies - maybe a bite of Christmas cake to go along with the sherry. 4. Transportation - If you have a car, Sentinel will be no harder to reach than Pauline Johnson. If you do not and can not arrange a ride with anotlier member, phone Bernie Holt at 922 - 8264 or Hugh Johnston at 922 - 0306.
