EXPO 86 PROJECTS The Council of West Vancouver has asked the W.V.C.A.C. to poll its affiliates for their ideas regarding the role of West Vancouver in Expo 86. The Executive of the Historical Society had already decided not to have a Memory Cruise in 1985 so that a special emphasis could be placedona Memory Cruise in 1986. Such a cruise would have a double significance - it would emphasizelhe original theme of Expo 86, transportation; and it would be a reminder that the M.V. HOLLYBURN was added to the West Vancouver Ferry Fleet fifty years ago - 1935 to 1986. But you as members may have other ideas as to how West Vancouver could take part in Expo 86. We could reproduce the ceremony of 1941 honouring the Narvaez along our coast in 1791. But you may have better ideas.
