- Description
- View of Macdonald's Creek, Bellevue Avenue and 19th Street.Note from Mrs. Wm. C. Gunn: This photo was taken by and from Mr. Reed's place, "Ripping Rill", N.W. corner Bellevue Avenue and 19th St. Circa 1930. Macdonald's Creek, West Vancouver, Looking south. The footbridge over to 1919 Bellevue was washed out by flood December 1st, 1949, and swept lengthwise (luckily), under the culvert that replaced the second bridge on Bellevue Ave., out to sea. Well do I remember this - watched it from our bedroom window when expecting Patricia any day (born December 7th, 1949)!
