- Description
- View of former Pacific Great Eastern Railway bridge across Ambleside Slough.Original photographers note: Another view of the ruined bridge that once carried the P.G.E. railway tracks over Ambleside Slough in West Vancouver, B.C. The slough, long a refuge of many varieties of birds, is now the scenes of a new crossing, a part of the linking of North Vancouver with the former railway terminus at Squamish (note likely written in early 1980s).
