- Photo taken at Municipal Bus Depot, foot of 14th Street.Bill Thompson, who is seen in this photo standing in front of Bus #3 and was a bus driver for a number of years after First World War (WWI) give the following information. He says that Bus #6 was originally a Pierce Arrow touring car that was used as a bus and to tow the Fire Dept.'s reel in case of fire. After some years the rear portion, immediatly behind the door, was removed. An elongated bus body, shown in this photo, was added. In this enlarged form it was able to carry up to 70 people. It ran from Hollyburn, first to 25th St. and later as far as West Bay. (interview with Bill Thompson - June 8, 1981)
