- Francis William Caulfeild, pioneer of Caulfeild West Vancouver. About 1899 he purchased a large acreage at Skunk Cove. Renaming it "Caulfeild," he subdivided it, in 1909, developed it, and put in a water system. Died in England 6 March 1934, in his 90th year.
