- Description
- Joseph Gregson, pioneer logger, Garden Bay, wrote to J.S. Matthews, 9th November, 1963 at the McNair Fraser Logging camp in West Vancouver, up on Hollyburn Ridge. The "Walking Dudley" was the only engine of its kind in B.C. It was bolted onto a flat car, and ran on rails the same as a locomotive, and hauled itself up and down the steep hill by cables on a special drum.
