- Images in this collection encompass items the library acquired around the building of Park Royal in 1950 and development of the British Properties. Photographs from the late 1940's and early 1950's taken in high quality black and white make up most of the collection.
Many photographs are the work of Leonard Frank Photos studio, located in suite 44-553 Granville Street, and later 614 West Pender Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. Photographers of the studios include founder Leonard Frank (operating 1919-1944), Bernard Frank and Albert Urquhart (1944-1946) and Otto Ferdand Landauer operator of the studio from 1946 until its closing around 1980. - Language of Item
