I was so happy to come across this interview with Barney. He was such a special man with so many wonderful stories to tell. Barney passed away peacefully on July 19, 2019 at his home - he will be missed.

This interview was with Tristan Thompson on December 20, 2017. Alan Earnest “Barney” Nunns, Royal Canadian Air Force, Second World War. Barney served as a wireless mechanic and “kicker” aboard DC-3 Dakota cargo planes in the Burma Campaign. Barney Nunns passed away July 2019.
